Many weapons have absurd alternate fire modes, and the world is bigger and far more varied. In previous Borderlands, loot was shared between players, which meant you had to fight over the best guns. Perhaps not one for a quick casual game with a friend, given this is a huge RPG environment filled with more potential, stories and events than most of us will ever see in one go. But, if you fancy a really deep co-op experience then this will keep you busy for years.

Tripwire also does great seasonal events, and there are tons of weird, cool custom maps out there, too, like 3D recreations of Pokemon towns. Our favorite thing about Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is all the paperwork. Wait, wait!

The act of playing through a shared experience with a friend is one of the best aspects of gaming. Some of the best friendships I have ever had have been forged in the virtual worlds of a video game. A prime example of why I love AA games , A Way Out has you play as either Vincent or Leo, two prison inmates who hope to break out to gain their freedom and get revenge. The story is told in a very cinematic fashion, at times it will be like you are playing a movie. I love this game because it was made with co-op in mind from its inception.
